Terms and Conditions

I acknowledge that participating in this activity carries inherent risks of serious injury or death. I acknowledge that this activity may trigger phobias or fears in me that could affect my mental health. I release Nativo Tamarindo, its instructors, and guides from any liability for accidents resulting from my participation, should I fail to disclose that I suffer from any condition or illness that could lead to an accident or death during the activity or transportation. I am aware that this activity involves extensive hiking in the dark in a completely wild, open-air environment where there are poisonous snakes, scorpions, bats, mosquitoes, insects, crabs, and poisonous trees, which could result in serious injury or even death. It is my understanding that participating in this activity requires me to be in good physical condition and involves travel between different locations and beaches, crossing steep slopes, cliffs, rugged terrain, and wading through streams, rivers, estuaries, the ocean, rocky areas, flood-prone areas, and wildfires. I acknowledge that there may be prolonged waiting periods. Furthermore, I am aware that I am in a natural environment where I may not see any sea turtles and may encounter other species of flora and fauna that could affect my physical condition. I agree that the guides, instructors, drivers, and any other staff members may cancel the activity at any time without a refund if I or anyone in my group is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs in a way that could affect our ability to participate in this activity. I accept that Nativo Tamarindo, its guides, drivers, instructors, and other personnel are not liable if I fail to bring the necessary clothing for this activity (closed-toe shoes, dark clothing, insect repellent) and that this may result in Nativo Tamarindo canceling the activity without a refund. Furthermore, I am aware that Nativo Tamarindo is not liable for delays due to weather conditions, tidal changes, shifts in sandbars, road conditions, or traffic incidents beyond its direct control. I am fully aware that this activity may be canceled in its entirety due to adverse weather conditions such as strong winds, flooding, thunderstorms, tsunamis, storm surges, changes in current direction, or changes in the seabed; directives from one or more government institutions of the Republic of Costa Rica; armed conflicts; or social unrest. By accepting and checking the (box), I am agreeing to the terms and conditions and giving my consent for the activity to take place.
