What kind of shoes should I wear?
We recommend shoes that can get wet, such as water shoes or sandals.

It’s not necessary, since the estuary is home to animals that help control pests—such as bats that keep mosquitoes at bay—but if you’d like to use some, you can apply it before boarding the boat.
Is this tour suitable for all ages?
Yes, it’s suitable for all ages, from infants to seniors, and is highly recommended for nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
Do I need to be in good physical condition?
All you need is to be able to move independently—that is, to walk on your own—since the tour involves a walk to the boat and, in some cases, a walk through the forest to look for monkeys, though the difficulty level is low.
Should I be afraid of the crocodiles?
No, you shouldn’t be afraid of them—but you should respect and admire them. This is their habitat, and they’re going about their daily lives—whether they’re sunbathing, resting, or hunting. They’re animals at the top of the marsh food chain, and we must respect their space.
Should we feed the animals in the estuary?
No, we shouldn’t disrupt their life cycle; they are wild animals, and by feeding them, we make them easy prey for larger animals.
Is transportation included in the tour?
For the Tamarindo and Langosta areas, transportation is included in the price.
For other locations, feel free to ask us. If you need transportation, please let us know so we can arrange it and provide you with the details.

What shoes should I wear?
We recommend shoes that can get wet, such as water shoes or closed-toe sneakers, since the tour involves a walk along the beach to look for turtles.
Do I need to bring insect repellent?
Yes, you need to use insect repellent. We recommend applying it before the tour begins, once you’re on the beach. If you’re using a spray, it’s very important to be careful when applying it.
Does the tour include food and drinks?
Drinks are included, but food is not. We recommend having a light dinner before the tour begins, or you can bring snacks or fruit.
What should I wear?
We recommend dark-colored clothing, as the turtles are sensitive to light.
Is this tour suitable for all ages?
Since this is a nighttime tour that involves a walk, it is not recommended for children under 6 years old or seniors over 65, unless they are in good physical condition.
Do I need to be in good physical condition?
Yes, you need to be in good physical condition, as the tour involves a walk on the beach, which may have rocks and branches.
If we don’t see many turtles, do we get a refund?
We need to be clear that this is a nature tour. Turtle season runs from October to April. We always check for the presence of turtles beforehand to ensure we’re heading in the right direction, but we cannot predict with 100% certainty that there will be sightings, nor can we confirm the presence of a specific number of turtles. However, we will always be able to observe some turtles.
Is transportation included in the tour?
For the Tamarindo and Langosta areas, it is included. Please note that since this is a shared service, we cannot wait more than 5 minutes at each location; if we do, the bus will leave because it has to continue its route.
